Newsletter - Summer 2010

Jeremy WaudIt has been a while since our last newsletter, and I am pleased to report that Net72 has continued to make solid progress.  Our strategy throughout last year was to focus on sports clubs and societies as well as alumni associations.

In this area we built on the success of winning Lloyds Golf Club and The Hurst Johnian Club by adding Old Reigatians RFC along with various cricket clubs, athletics clubs and golf societies.

Net72 has had still more success in the commercial sector over the last six months, and we have secured some excellent new business including Scott Combustion in Sussex.

Boxrates.com has been an important and interesting commercial development for us. This is an online comparison site for shipping lines, and is featured in this issue of our newsletter.

Our relationship with the Oldencraig equestrian business continues to flourish – after the success of the website for the Equestrian Centre, Oldencraig owner Ian Winfield instructed us to create an online tack shop, which will give them access to a far larger audience to sell their merchandise online.

As you read further into this newsletter, you will see that the Net72 service offering is not just about creating intelligent and impressive looking websites. We are also very good at developing offline brands as well, David ‘Doc’ Watson has just completed a full branding, stationery and web site build for Riverhouse Partners.

A warm welcome Rob Cundey, as our new Sales Manager, he is working alongside Charles as we continue to expand our business and our client base.

Case Study - boxrates.com

Boxrates

As well as specialising in sporting and alumni markets, Net72 have enjoyed considerable success in the commercial sector in 2010. One of the more exciting projects so far has been developing a price comparison website for shipping lines.
Shipping lines will be able to upload their tariffs onto the boxrates.com website, and customers will be able to search their desired criteria.

Shipping related organisations will have the opportunity to advertise on the boxrates.com website in the designated advertising spaces.

Boxrates.com is also going to be a source of shipping information. The ‘Shipping Glossary’ explains the ins and outs of the shipping industry, as well as shows a ‘World Clock’ which allows users to view what the times are in different cities of the world.
The news feed from the Lloyd’s List website will also be a great feature, which means users can be completely up-to-date with market news.

Oldencraig Riding Vouchers completed
Net72 were briefed to create some riding vouchers for the Tack Shop at Oldencraig Equestrian Centre. Ian Winfield wanted a selection of vouchers for the different riding lessons there are on offer at Oldencraig, and requested them to be modern and slick with artistic shots of horses on them.

Once the design was agreed, the design was sent off to the printed in a ‘cheque book’, so that the Tack Shop could keep record of the vouchers by referring back to the stubs of the cheque book.

Rugby Match Management Module in full flow at Old Reigatians RFC
Old Reigatians were our first client to take advantage of our new Match management module. The match management module allows coaches to create fixture lists and then pick match day teams from the club database. After the match, the points scored can be allocated to each player, and subsequently generates the match total – a match report can be created. The match management module allows Reigatians to have a comprehensive archive - players also have a record of their individual stats on their personal profile.

Net72 helps Incentive FM project its image
The Incentive FM directors are always keen to increase the awareness of the Incentive brand, and by attending industry related exhibitions they continue to achieve this. Incentive commissioned Net72 to create a selection of display panels for IFM Group, Incentive FM, Incentive QAS (IFM Group Cleaning Branch) and Incentive Catering. Once these panels were approved, we created a selection of pop-ups.

Net72 have also provided Incentive with other sales support material - the new bid folders are a great addition to the Incentive stationery suite.

Technology Update

In these very tough economic times, many organisations will struggle to justify an investment into an expensive website – however they still recognise the importance of having a smart online presence.  To cater for this market, Net72 have created an affordable entry level website template, which allows small companies, sports clubs and societies to market themselves online.

Once the client has defined the pages they want to appear on the site, designated users can keep the website up-to-date and fresh by uploading recent news, results, photos and articles.
